episode 2: santa, bat di santo ang tawag sayo?
hi. i'm david. how are you? i'm fine thank you. i'm just wondering... what do you do when you're not doing anything at all?
anu nga ba? since 8am, andito nako sa ofis pero wala akong nagawa dahil wala akong gagawin kaya wala akong ginagawa. hindi pala maganda ang walang magawa. buti pa ang mga me ginagawa, at least me gagawin sila kaya me ginagawa sila. ang taong gawa ng gawa ay may nagagawa dahil me mga gawain siyang ginagawa.
ngayon ay maga-alasinko na ng hapon. so, what do you do when you're not doing anything at all...?

episode 1: kamusta naman tayo dyan?
it's been a while since i last visited this blog. almost a year, to be nearly exact. hehe. as usual, i've been through alot of trouble and i failed to blog em all here. i'm not quite sure how am i supposed to start all over with my blog but i decided to remove my old posts to start anew. for some reason last night, i was with my filipino friend toti and i suddenly wanted him to see this webbie of mine just to prove something... (perhaps to prove that i was not really this fat before. hehe). anyway, whatever reason that is, i came to sumble back to my good ol webbie and i thought i wanted to start writing again. baboygum (her internet screename), during a previous chat also reminded me of this blog. she was asking me why am i not writing anything anymore. my answer was plain simple... i was too busy to do. what's important is that im back here... typing through the keyboard as if writing... or should i say blogging. hehe
to all ye folks who may seem to be still unaware, i am blogging from outside the philippines. so what's so special about that, you may ask... well since im a filipino, it means that im from the philippines and that i used to spend the last 22 years of my life there. im blogging from the uae. i've been here since february and i'm scheduled to take my much awaited vacation next year.
since i wasn't able to blog anything here since last year, my first few months here ( just to sum it all up) was all about adjustments. the same is true to other fil-nons as well. uae's culture compared that of the phils is different due to their beliefs and practices. in a way, i was shocked at their seemingly natural ways. maybe, i'm just not used to men holding each others hand in public. it's very irritating to my eye. i can't find any art that would explain those ive seen. there's alot more to discuss as for their practices. but even so, i find people here to be hospitable, kind and warm. people here loves to learn some tagalog words. from time to time, people here will greet you "pare" or "kabayan". so far it's been a good ride. i'm even starting to like their food here.
